Essex Leopards (UK) Basketball

The Leopards franchise was originally based at London Arena in East London and ran from 1994 to 2003, winning two BBL league titles, the National Cup once and twice finishing runners-up in the Cup.
In 2004 our current club was set up and launched by fans of the Leopards and since that time we have played out of the Brentwood Leisure Centre and various other Essex sports arenas.

In 2005/6 the Leopards Basketball Club won the National Cup, entertaining a crowd of several thousand at the NIA Birmingham. More recently, during season 2011/12, we won the National Cup in January and then added the Division One League and Play-off crowns to our trophy cabinet. Our team is currently playing professionally in the England Basketball League (EBL) Division One, which is the second tier of British basketball and have recently added the National Trophy to the trophy cabinet.

Proudly playing in Essex with surrounding populace in the region of 390,000 we will in 2014/15 be playing our home games and the Brentwood Centre and Harlow Leisurezone.
