Life For A Kid was set up in 2009 with the aim of helping disabled children that are under the age of 16 by offering funds and equipment to help them live a better life, and to also help children who require life saving or life changing operations. This year Life For A Kid celebrated it’s fifth year anniversary. We’ve come a long way over the last five years and have helped so many children along the way too. We have gone from strength to strength over the last five years, it’s more important then ever that we continue to strengthen even more to achieve our goals of helping children live a better life. We are currently in the process of the biggest project to this date for this charity. We are in the making of building the Life For A Kid Health & Education centre in Hull which will be free of charge for disabled children to visit. Within, this centre we are heavily focusing on a Sensory Department which will have rooms that will aid development for disabled children and also, act as an respite for the disabled children. The Sensory Rooms will feature a number of sensory equipment including toys, games, lights, interactive equipment etc. We are looking to raise £5,200 in order to purchase the sensory equipment.
